The 2023 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have been released in India by Royal Enfield, complete with fresh color options and a variety of new features. The 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is available for a starting price of Rs 3.03 lakh, while the 2023 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 starts at Rs 3.19 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom, Chennai). Both models are now available for reservations.
The 2023 Interceptor 650 has expanded its color palette with four new options, which include two blacked-out variants named Black Ray and Barcelona Blue, a new custom dual color called Black Pearl, and a solid color option called Cali Green. These fresh hues increase the variety of choices for potential buyers, complementing the existing Mark 2, Sunset Strip, and Canyon Red options.
The 2023 Continental GT 650 now boasts two additional blacked-out color options, namely Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey, to complement its existing Mr. Clean, Dux Deluxe, British Racing Green, and Rocker Red choices. These new colors come with added features, including improved seat comfort, new switchgear, a USB charging port, and a brand-new LED headlamp.
The 2023 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 now come in blacked-out variants, which showcase blacked-out engine and exhaust components. Additionally, the blacked-out versions feature cast alloy wheels and tubeless tires, which are included as standard features.
Both the 2023 Interceptor 650 and the 2023 Continental GT 650 share a 648cc parallel twin-cylinder engine, cooled by air and oil, that produces a maximum power of 47hp and peak torque of 52Nm. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox.
